Our beautiful girl's name is Brana Shaina, named after her (Great) Great Aunt, Brana Shaina Deitsch, of blessed memory.

Ever since my aunt's sudden passing just four years ago, while I was staying in her Crown Heights apartment, I knew I wanted to have a daughter with Tanta Brana Shaina's name. I always felt a very special personal connection to her.

When our daughter was born five and a half weeks early on 13 Tishrei, precisely on Tanta Brana Shaina's Yartzeit, the Hashcacha Pratis (Divine Providence) was undeniable.

May our princess Brana Shaina grow up to the high standards of the special women of her namesake. Moshiach now!
