We had an amazing Chanukah celebration on Sunday in front of the Old State Capitol, with special guest, Senator Dick Durbin joining us to kick off Chanukah with a grand Menorah lighting.

Chabad of Springfield hosted a special Farbrengen and Hakhel gathering to celebrate the spiritual significance of Yud Tes Kislev, also known as the Rosh Hashanah of Chassidism.

We had a beautiful and packed 'Soup in the Sukkah' event with an array of delicious soups, tasty salad and muffins, accompanied by refreshing drinks.

We had a wonderful time at our summer BBQ, with over 65 people who came out to enjoy spending time with the Jewish community!

It's pretty busy on campus at the University of Illinois - Springfield.

It was amazing to have this great group of traveling Rabbis-in-training here for two weeks, visiting hundreds of Jewish homes before the New Year!
