We were delighted that over 150 people came out for the public Menorah lighting at White Oaks Mall!
It was very meaningful that Dr. Marc Garfinkel, a Pittsburgh native, lit the Shamesh in honor of those killed in the devastating Pittsburgh massacre just a few weeks ago.
This year’s “Honorary Lamplighters” were Mr. And Mrs. Ralph and Betty Hurwitz, strong pillars of the Jewish community, for many decades.
A special thank you to Senator-elect Steve McClure, County Sheriff Jack Campbell, County Clerk Don Gray, County Auditor Andy Goleman and Ward 5 Alderman Andrew Proctor for honoring the Jewish community with your presence.
