On Sunday, the final night of Chanukah, the Grand Menorah Car Parade took place in Springfield. The parade, organized by Chabad of Springfield, brought together members of the community in a festive celebration.
Starting in the parking lot of the Chabad location, the parade made its way through the city, passing by some of Springfield's most iconic landmarks such as the State Capitol, the Governor's Mansion, and the Old State Capitol.
As the parade progressed, the sound of honking car horns and music filled the streets, bringing joy and cheer to those watching from the sidewalks. The parade ended at a property donated to Chabad of Springfield a few years ago, where the cars parked and everyone gathered to participate in the lighting of the large Menorah.
The Grand Menorah Car Parade was a memorable and uplifting event that brought joy to all who participated.
